This is quite random, and I found your blog quite randomly, but you say "from cow town", are you really from Davis or did you just go to undergrad there?
I ask because I'm a Davisite, born and raised, graduated from Davis Senior High in 1998 (and now transplated to France).
Anyway, sorry about your bad expereince with the French online shopping. I can assure you that the rest of things here in France run almost as well, be thankful you have Jcrew.com!!!

I lived in Davis from about 1-6 and then went back for my undergraduate degree. But my boyfriend grew up there and went to Davis as well.
I saw you post a comment on my sister's blog (emilystyle.com) and read a bit of your blog. Lucky thing living in France!! I love that you are a scientist who loves JCrew as well.. there are so few of us!!
